About Us

Community Supported Agriculture
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a system of farming that brings together farmers, community members and agricultural land into a mutually beneficial relationship.
Members of the community purchase a "farmshare" for a full growing season. This commitment implies a willingness to share with the farmer both the bounty from the land and at least some of the risks of its production.
The farmer receives fair and guaranteed compensation. In return, members receive a variety of fresh picked produce, sustainably grown by farmers they personally know and trust.

Our Commitment
We are committed to responsible use of precious agricultural land. Our produce is grown without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or genetically modified organisms.
We make use of compost, cover crops, and crop rotation to promote healthy soil and plants. Our goal is to sustain the environment while building community at the same time.

Anchor Run Farm
Our CSA, in operation since 2004, is part of Anchor Run Farm, a 100 acre open space preserve which is owned and stewarded by the citizens of Wrightstown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
The farm was acquired in 1996 and 1998 with the support of the Hipple and Wicen families, the Township's residents and Board of Supervisors, and Bucks County Open Space Funds. Wrightstown Township is committed to protecting farming and encouraging environmentally responsible practices in our community.
Wrightstown Township invites you to reconnect with farmers and the land that nourishes our bodies and spirits and to enjoy the beauty of the farm that your support makes possible.

The Farmers
Derek McGeehan and Dana Hunting have been farming at Anchor Run since 2009. Previously they managed a CSA in York County, PA. They both love farming. As Pennsylvania natives, they cherish and are extremely thankful for the opportunity to farm at the beautiful and special Anchor Run Farm.
