Gabby Levey
Returning for her third season at Anchor Run CSA, Gabby is thrilled to continue building upon the deep connections, meaningful learning experiences, and community engagement she fostered during her previous season. With her passion for environmental sustainability, food justice, and community building, Gabby is committed to nurturing a reciprocal relationship with the land and contributing to a more equitable and just food system. She looks forward to embarking on another season of growth and connection with the Anchor Run crew and community. Originally from Baltimore, MD, Gabby has also lived in several states, including California, Washington, Virginia, and Alabama. Prior to discovering Anchor Run, Gabby worked as a special education para-educator for years and then worked on a Philadelphia conservation crew, building, maintaining, and engaging in hands-on trail work at State Parks all over Pennsylvania. Through these experiences, she has learned the immense power of connecting with nature for both adults and children alike.
In her free time, she loves to explore new hikes, camp under the stars, spend time with animals, cook tasty meals, breathe and stretch, climb rocks and trees, travel to new places, and bask in the sunshine with a good book. Onward to another great 2023 farm season!
