Wild Edible Foraging - Tasting and Tea
It is so nourishing for the body, mind and spirit to gather ones own food - wild edibles!
Organic, non-genetically mutated, rich in vitamins and minerals. Barb will open the door for you to a whole new world. Growing right in your back yard are ingredients for salad, stir fries, teas and other dishes.
At this event farm member and long time forager Barb Weikamp will take you on a walk around the farm to identify and pick plants for a salad and a stir fry. Make sure to bring your own scissors, a basket or bag, bowls for washing greens, as well as a plate, cup or mug, fork and a towel. Meet at the picnic tables under the pavilion.
